The Association to Preserve the Eatonville Community, Inc. (P.E.C.), a 501(c)3, Florida-based historic preservation and cultural arts organization, will host the annual Zora Neale Hurston Festival of the Arts and Humanities (ZORA! Festival), beginning January 25 through February 3, 2019. The Festival takes place throughout Orange County and will kick-off the celebration of Historic Eatonville’s 132ndyear.  Among the festivities are an HBCUs Summit, a two-day conference; Global Conversations Round Tables, the Collegium for African American Research (CAAR) with an update on update of the 12-year ZORA! STEM initiative launched to help revitalize Eatonville, a tribute to Pulitzer Prize recipient, novelist, short story writer, poet, and activist Alice Walker during its 30th anniversary banquet and a book signing of Walker’s new novel Taking the Arrow Out of the Heartat the festival in Eatonville.  For complete details visit
