It doesn’t get any better than ringing in the New Year here in the City beautiful with Miss Diana Ross!   By all accounts, Miss Ross is still the Boss and she’s back for a return engagement at the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center on January 9th.  The Supreme Miss Ross will undoubtedly turn the house out!

Johnny Mathis brings his distinctive song stylings to the stage on January 11, 2019.  The crooner has been doing his thing for more than four decades and hasn’t missed a beat.

You’ll want to be center stage at DPAC’s Walt Disney Theater when Hamiltoncomes to town, January 22ndthrough February 10th.  Hopefully your tickets have already been purchased and you’re getting ready for the most popular Broadway show since Cats.  This musical debuted at the Obama White House as a few impromptu bars of spoken word by In the Heightswriter-producer-star, Lin Manuel Miranda.

The Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre comes to the Center on February 19thand like the musical Hamilton, it is certain this performance will quickly sell out.   The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater grew from a 1958 performance at the 92nd Street Y [MCA] in New York City to performances for more than an estimated 25 million people at theaters in 48 states and 71 countries on six continents.  To date, the Ailey Company’s repertoire includes over 235 works by more than 90 choreographers.
