In The Heights And Other Fascinating Things to Do
In partnership with the University of Central Florida, the hit Broadway play In the Heights performances September 19th through 23, 2018 are collectively ‘$25 Under 35 Week’. To purchase $25 tickets for evening performances and weekend matinees you must be 35 years of age or younger. A valid ID is required and the limit is one ticket per ID. A ‘Talk Back Performance’ will be presented on September 23rd providing an opportunity following the 2 p.m. matinee to stay and chat with the director and members of the cast about the production. With music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and book by Quiara Alegría Hudes, the performances will run through Sunday, October 7th ending with a 9:00 p.m. show.
Calling all lovers…of seafood. Join the SouthEast Crab Feast event on August 25th at the Bill Frederick Park, 3401 South Hiawassee Road, Orlando, FL 32835 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. This event offers the ‘low country coastal heritage of outdoor cooking of fresh seafood’. This highly anticipated event will offer ALL YOU CAN EAT fresh blue crabs and fish & chips or an optional snow crab legs platter, music and a friendly environment for the entire family. The Feast historically sells out early every year so you might want to secure your tickets ASAP. All advance ticket purchases will be held in the buyers name to redeem at Will Call on the day of the event. You’ll only need a valid ID to claim your pre-purchased tickets. Limited seating will be available on a first come first serve basis but you are welcome to bring your own table and chairs. While the SouthEast Crab Feast seafood is heavily seasoned to a great taste, you are welcome to bring your own personal dipping sauces, special seasoning and crab mallet. No large coolers, beverages or large bags are allowed into the event. Sodas and bottled water will be available for purchase. All ticket sales are final and ticket holders agree that SouthEast Crab Feast cannot be held responsible for any allergic reaction.
