The Historic Town of Eatonville, recognized as the oldest black incorporated municipality in America, will host its 2019 Founder’s Day Celebration, commemorating 132 years of existence! This colossal occasion will celebrate Eatonville’s past, present, and future.
The festivities will take place Saturday, August 17, 2019, 10 a.m. an the Hungerford Field (Next to the Eatonville Public Library). This day will consist of a wonderful community day of celebration, local live entertainment, health screenings, vendors, prize giveaways, lots of food, and much, much more. We will feature a time for special presentations and acknowledgements of our youth, seniors for their accomplishments and leadership as well as sponsors on this day possible. You do not want to miss this
We will also highlight the 10th Anniversary of Universal Kings Bike Club for its profound presence in the community. As we celebrate together, it is our mission to foster community engagement of our seniors, youth, families, and local businesses as we come in celebration of this wonderful milestone for the Historic Town of Eatonville.
This Anniversary celebration will continue the re-branding efforts lead by our Council, staff and volunteers; to ensure the Town of Eatonville provides a wonderful experience for all who live, visit, and work within Historic Eatonville.
