2019 Orlando Balloon Glow
Visitors to Orlando as well as local residents look to the many theme parks to provide family fun and seemingly endless adventures especially with all of the new additions and expansions going on at Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld and The Holy Land Experience. However, if you’re looking for an opportunity to try something new or different, the 2019 Orlando Balloon Glow just might fit the bill. It features a parade of hot air balloons all glowing just before dark. The Balloon Glow runs from Thursday, November 14ththrough Sunday, November 17thfrom 5 to 9 pm at Blue Jacket Park, 2501 General Rees Avenue in Orlando.
Tickets for the Orlando Balloon Glow range from $1.00 for general admission to $20 tethered rides. VIP tickets at $50 provide access to special seating that includes climate controlled bathrooms. VIP guests will be given a free tethered ride in one of Midflo’s modern hot air balloons with ADA access. The event offers private tethered balloon rides for couples, setting a romantic mood while providing a little alone time for $75. There will also be hosts of local food vendors, retail vendors, and activities for the kids. Upon arrival adult guests will receive a champagne toast to enjoy from seating with a great view of the main glow which takes place at 8pm. Each guest must have an admission ticket as Midflo Events limits capacity to ensure everyone is comfortable and can enjoy their rides. This year’s event will be fenced off with two entrances, one at the east end of Blue Jacket Park and the other at the west entrance into the parking lot for guests using the free shuttle service from Fashion Square Mall. Tethered rides can be booked in advance starting at $20 per person and all pre-booked guests must check in by 7 pm each evening.
